Honour God

Hebrews 4:16 (NLT) So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

If you have ever been in the presence of great men, you will know that there is something called protocol: you have to call or he has to call you to come and see him and then the Chief Security Officer has to inform them at the gate that you are coming.

That's the protocol to enter the presence of great men, you cannot just barge in. Thus, if you are in the bad books of a great man, it's likely that you may never see him until he forgives you. But God who is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, the Greatest of the Greatest says you can approach His presence confidently, boldly without any protocol even at the wrongest time when you have sinned!

Another thing you should know about the presence of great men is that you never come back the same; it's either you are richer, more powerful or some major problem has been solved. If all these can happen in the presence of a man, how much more God's presence!

In the presence of a great man, you don't press your phone or ping your friends, you switch off your phone or mute all calls. How then do you find it easy to chat on BBM and WhatsApp during church service? You are in the presence of the Most High!  You must honour God in church today, switch off your phones and focus on God for 2-3 hours of the 24 hours in a day.

If you make up your mind to do this, you will be blessed, God will honour you,   you will be a better person and your life will match forward as you decide to honour God in church today in Jesus name. Happy new month

God is faster than light

James 1:17 (NIV) Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Everything God created talks about His character. Science will tell you that only very few things are faster than light; the moment your hand hits the light switch, light comes on, it's instant: without delay or hesitation.

God is the Father of Lights, He created light hence He knows what speed means. The moment you said "Father in the name of Jesus", He heard you already, Matthew tells us that God knows about our needs even before we ask. Believe that God heard you when you prayed and expect the answers to your prayers. The bible said in Mark 11:23-24 whatever you ask in prayer believing that you receive, you shall have. If you ask your father for something and he says you can have it, do you go on asking him everyday? Nope! You wait for him! The same way with God, He has heard you, thank Him in advance.

God can pay for it!

Ephesians 3: 20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,

I once watched a video of Michael Jackson as he shopped for his house, he didn't look at the price tag or asked how much any of the things he was buying cost, he simply pointed at what he wanted. When he was done, he had spent one million pounds!

Beloved, God is richer than Michael Jackson, if you can think about it, God can pay for it. I don't know what it is you need that you can't afford; your school fees, your wedding, your car, your house, your trip abroad etc Whatever it is, God can pay for it and even do more than you expected.

When Jesus fed five thousand people with five loaves and 3 fishes, there were 12 baskets of left over, not the ones people had bitten out of but 12 baskets of overflow, it means the people ate until they could eat no more and took takeaway as well yet there were still 12 baskets left!

God can do it! I don't know what you are going through but God can sort you out, do the little your money can afford and God will do the rest. Just like they brought five loaves and two fishes to Jesus, print your iv for the wedding you want God to do for you , start buying house things for the house you want God to rent or buy for you , buy footmats and air fresheners for the car you want God to give you, get a passport for the visa you expect God to give you , pay the acceptance fee for the school fees you want God to provide.

Do your little, it's proof that you have faith and faith is spiritual currency. God will show up for you, your expectation will not be cut off in Jesus name.

Vindication

Genesis 20:1-4 (NIV)  For a while he stayed in Gerar, 2and there Abraham said of his wife Sarah, “She is my sister.” Then Abimelek king of Gerar sent for Sarah and took her.

3But God came to Abimelek in a dream one night and said to him, “You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken; she is a married woman.”

4Now Abimelek had not gone near her, so he said, “Lord, will you destroy an innocent nation? 5Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister,’ and didn’t she also say, ‘He is my brother’? I have done this with a clear conscience and clean hands.”

Can you remember a time when you did something wrong and when people read or heard about it, they called for your head? They demanded the ultimate penalty for you but somehow, you escaped unscathed.

Do you know why you escaped? To men you were a criminal but to God, He saw your heart and He knew your heart was pure.

There will be moments in life when your decisions will be misunderstood and your reputation will be tarnished, don't go around trying to explain yourself, reach out to God and ask Him to help you sort things out. He is the one who sees the hearts of men and knows who is truly good or evil. God will vindicate you, those same people will apologise for how badly they have treated you in Jesus name.

LOVE!

1 John 4:7 He that is born of God overcomes the world.

For you to be a god on the earth and to function in the fullness of God's glory you have to walk in love.

Jesus said in Luke 6: 27-36 (NIV): But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them.30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

32“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.33And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. 35But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

When you begin to function at this realm, you are totally unstoppable, you would usher in the Kingdom of God to your home, your office, your environment and you would take over. Love is the key. Let us all pray that God will give us a heart filled with His love, you cannot do this on your own, it will take the grace of God.

The Secret To Supernatural Provision

Phillipians 4:19 (NIV) And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.

Have you ever invited someone to your house and the person could not find his way? What you probably did was to ask the person to stay wherever he was and you would come and meet him there.

When God meets all your needs, your salary does not have to change, you don't have to win a contract, He will simply cause His favour to shine on you such that you will find favour wherever you turn.

You could be earning Fifty Thousand Naira monthly ($25) but you could be driving a Mercedes and living in a beautiful house. How? Because it's God supplying your needs according to His riches not your pocket!

If you read Phillipians 4:18, you would see the reason why Paul prayed that God would be the supply of the Phillipian church: they ensured that Paul did not lack anything. The secret to God supplying your needs according to His riches is to take care of your pastor and other men of God that you know.

God said in Numbers 18:20 that He would be the portion of the Levites, those were the ministers in the days of Moses. God meant He would be their Source and Supply. Thus, when you sow into a man of God, you just connected yourself with God's supply and I tell you that God's supply is lavish!

I don't know what it is you want God to supply, find out the need in your church or whatever it is that you can support your man of God with and God will do same for you.
