A Nagging Wife

Proverbs 21: 19 Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife.

If you nag and you always fight your man, it's just a matter of time before he goes to the desert; he will drink with friends till 2 am, he will party everyday but he will never come home. The desert is also another woman's arms.

The desert is a place of futility and barrenness but a man will rather stay there than live with a nagging and quarrelsome wife

You know why? There are 3 things a man values; they are sex, peace of mind and food; in that order.

A quarrelsome woman will turn these 3 into weapons of war and the moment a man cannot get any of the 3, he believes he is unwanted and begins to look for where he will get sex, peace of mind and food .

You may ask, what if I am giving my husband these 3 and he is still  cheating? Report him to God and let your attitude be an example of a godly woman. A praying wife is a powerful woman, you have major influence with God.

Wives, let your husbands be happy to come home regardless of what he has done. May God help us all.

Be Still and Know That He is God

Exodus 14:14 (GWT) The LORD is fighting for you! So be still!"
When Moses made this statement, he had just led over 2 million Jews out of Egypt and the Egyptians were in hot pursuit with chariots and their best army and in front of Moses was the red Sea. There was no escape whatsoever.
What then could prompt Moses to tell the Israelis to be still or keep calm during this trying period? It was because he had seen God do terrible things to the Egyptians. He had seen God send 10 plagues to Egypt.
These plagues turned an economic power like Egypt to a dilapidated nation.
Moses was confident that God was able to fight for them, he had enough evidence. Moses asked the Israelis to be still or hold their peace because it was impossible not to be disturbed by what they saw.
The same way; I don't know what you are dealing with, it could be some debt you owe, or money for school fees, it could be a life threatening disease, it could be your marriage, it could be that you have been treated unjustly, God is telling you to be still, He will make a way, He will heal you, He will save your marriage, He will justify you.
What was the last major miracle God did in your life? It's this morning! That you are awake and reading this post is a miracle! When was the last time you prayed for something and God did it? If He has shown up for you in the past, trust Him for this miracle as well, you will not be disappointed, He will fight for you. Only be still and be at peace.

You Are The Lead Actor

Psalm 91:10 (NIV)no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.
If I was to ask how you saw your life you would paint different scenarios, if you ask me, I would say life is a movie and I am the lead actor. The lead actor never dies, there could be an explosion but he would survive, there could be a war where he was shot but he would not die.
Everyone who believes in God is a lead actor in this movie called life. A 1000 may fall at your side and 10,000 at your right hand but it will never come near you.
I want you to have this mindset from now on, you are a lead actor, you can never die, you will be the last man standing, you will win, if you have not won yet then the movie is not over.

The Benefits of a Godly Life

Psalm 37:25 (NLT) Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.
King David died when he was 70 years old and he could say confidently that the Godly were never abandoned by God and their children did not beg for bread.
A Godly life will bring to you all that the world struggles for. It may appear rough but the Godly are never put to shame, there will never be a time when they are stranded or lack help.
God does not only take care of the Godly He takes care of their children as well. I don't know what corners you are cutting so that you can pay your house rent or buy a car or get a job, God is saying that if you put Him first, all those things will chase after you and not you chasing after them.
God cares about the image of Godly people, He likes to show off those who trust in Him. A Godly life is a magnet for the extraordinary.
Beloved, that sugar daddy, that dishonest business cannot keep you in money for 70 years but God can, come to Him and trust Him and He will give you a fresh start.

God Will Lift You Up

Psalm 3:3 (NIV)But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
Joseph would never have thought that the next place after the prison was the palace.
God is constantly strategising your breakthrough, Joseph woke up one morning and he had no clue that his life was about to change forever, nothing hinted at what God was about to do but at the end of that day, he was the most powerful man in Egypt. You will wake up one morning too and you will think it's just another day but it will be the day of your breakthrough.
Your mind will never figure how God will do it but He will. Don't doubt God and don't stop believing His promises. They will come to pass.

Believe You Have Received It!

Mark 11:24 (NIV)Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
If someone sent money to your bank account and you got the alert you would call the person to say "thank you". You don't have the money in your hands but you have the money.
It is the same way with the word of God, whenever you believe the promises of God in the Bible, you have an alert in your bank account, it is with thanksgiving that you withdraw, thanksgiving is your ATM card and the password to all promises that God has promised us is "Thank You Jesus".
I don't know what you are believing God for, you may have prayed and fasted but do one more thing, thank God for it and it will be yours.

Don't be Anxious

Philippians 4:6 (NLT) Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
If you decide to obey this instruction not to worry and give thanks about everything, you will begin to see miracles everyday in your life.
Go to church today with this understanding, you will return with your testimony in Jesus name.
