You Will Rise Again

Matthew 28:2-4 (NIV) There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.3His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.4The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

The Pharisees really planned for Jesus; they killed Him and put a huge stone at the tomb and then they positioned soldiers to guard Him day and night but He rose.

Who are those who have strategically planned for your destruction? They sat down and developed a plan on how to make sure you never get promoted, they did not sleep, they were racking their brains on how to make sure you will never have more than enough money, they woke up in the midnight to carry sacrifices and make incantations to make sure you never marry or have children. Listen! It doesn't matter the odds against you, you will rise!

After Jesus rose, they started spreading rumors that His body was stolen but evidence cancelled all their lies. Your evidence will cancel all lies in Jesus name.

Just as the angel sat on the stone, everything that the devil planned to limit you with will lead to your elevation and comfort.

People may see what you are going through just like they saw Jesus beaten, dragged all over the place and eventually crucified but they saw Him rise from the dead as well. Because people have seen you suffer, they will see you rise in Jesus name.

Jesus screamed "My My God why have you forsaken me?". You may be in that place where you can't trace God but when you can't trace Him, trust Him. You may be wondering how God will turn that situation around but I tell you that if Jesus could be raised from the dead, your situation would not be difficult for God.

Your best days are ahead of you, these problems are fleeting, they will not last. The days of overflow are near and they will last forever. Wait for it, don't throw in the towel just yet. The Lord is your strength.

How To Survive Disaster

Psalm 63:1 (NIV) A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah.

You, God, are my God,

earnestly I seek you;

I thirst for you,

my whole being longs for you,

in a dry and parched land

where there is no water.

When David wrote Psalm 63, he was facing the most trying time of his life, he was forced to run away from the palace just like he did in the time of Saul because his own son whom he raised plotted to take the throne and kill him.

To make matter worse, David's best friend Ahitophael supported Absalom and as he was running away, a man by the name of Shimea started throwing stones at David, cursed him and accused him of reaping what he sowed because he stole the throne of Saul.

David ran to the desert, that was the only place he was welcome. Yet in the midst of all these, in a desert where there was no water, all David cared about was to see God! He longed to go into the sanctuary he had in his palace and worship God!

Beloved, the most dangerous people are those who worship God in the midst of trials, they will not stay in that situation for long.

It was in the place of worship that David sealed the fate of Absalom and Ahitophael; Psalm 63:9 (NIV) says: "Those who want to kill me will be destroyed..." they were destroyed. Absalom was caught in the thicket of a tree as he tried to escape and Ahitophael hung himself.

I know that problem is causing you to worry but the response to that problem should not be depression, it should be to search for God and to worship Him. That is the key to getting out of whatever you are facing. You will come out stronger in Jesus name.

3 Things Every Man Should Know 

Genesis 2:21-22 (NIV) So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs^g and then closed up the place with flesh. 22Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib^h he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

This text shows us that the woman was formed out of man and when God created the woman, man was so excited that he became a poet, he started spitting lyrics " she is the bone of my bones and the flesh of my flesh".

The reason why men are attacked by the devil and the reason why there are so many irresponsible men is because men are the key! There are 3 things every man should know;

 1.As a man you hold the destiny of generations, thus when a man is irresponsible, he will muddle up things and frustrate God's agenda. If you see a lady who is a prostitute today, you can trace it back to how she grew up, either the father had many wives or he was a baby daddy. 

2. There is a part of your greatness  that your wife and children are supposed to manifest. When Michelle Obama gave that decisive speech that brought her husband back to the White House, it was that which she took out of her husband that she was manifesting. That's why it's important to spend time and share your ideologies with your wife and children, share your vision of who you are and what you expect them to be.

 Adam was surprised at what God created out of him. Your wife and children should shine out of your fullness but how can they shine out of your fullness when you are not committed to God? The destinies of many women and  have been destroyed because of a father who could not take his rightful place, spiritually and physically. If your wife wakes up to pray before you, you are irresponsible. Your prayers should be the first thing your wife and children hear everyday. 

3. God is the source but you are next in line: God respects protocol; He will not channel the blessing you need to take care of your family through your wife, He respects your position as the head of the home. You may ask what about those situations when the woman is feeding the man?  It could be that they are going through a phase in life or the man has abdicated his position through illicit sex and other irresponsible ways. It is not God's plan for your wife to feed you. 

1 Timothy 5:8 (NIV) says: 

Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

I pray for you in the name of Jesus who was raised from the dead, everything that has died in you, everything holding you back from becoming the man God has called you to be is frustrated in Jesus name. You will shine and manifest God's glory, take your rightful place in Jesus name. Amen

The Blessings of Easter

2 Corinthians 8:9 (NIV) For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

As we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus, it's important for us to know somethings:

1. The grace that saved you from sin can deliver you from poverty. Jesus did not die to forgive your sins alone. He became poor so that you can become rich. Poverty has no place in your life, everything that happened to Jesus was because of you. Let us celebrate Easter with this understanding. If Jesus died to make me rich and I believe it, I will never have money problems again!

2. Jesus was flogged for your healing, He was made ashamed so that you will never be put to shame, He carried His cross so that from now on you can lay every burden at His feet and then He rose again to prove that no matter what you face, if you have Jesus, you will rise again.

3.Winning is in your DNA, you are a winner no matter how many times you fail, let the devil do his worst, he is still working for God. The death of Jesus was the biggest mistake the devil made, if the devil knew, he would never have crucified Jesus. Beloved, even when the devil thinks you have lost, you are still a winner. You will rise again, your best years are in front of you.

How To Know Your Helpers of Destiny

1 Samuel 23:17 (NIV)  "Don't be afraid," he said. "My father Saul will not lay a hand on you. You will be king over Israel, and I will be second to you. Even my father Saul knows this."

Let me tell you about your helpers of destiny, they will see your greatness even when you can't see it and they won't doubt it, they will tell everyone who cares to listen how talented you are and they would do everything to promote you, they will sacrifice money, time and experience to make sure your dreams come true. 

Those that are not sent to you on the other hand may be nice for a while but a mistake or misunderstanding will end the relationship. Don't bother about these kind of people, they don't belong in your future. 

If you have never believed  anything I have written before please believe this; ALL OF YOUR SUCCESS IN LIFE WILL COME FROM LESS THAN 20 PEOPLE! The moment you realise this, you will be able to differentiate between who is important and who isn't. 

Anywhere there is favour, there is a future, you dont belong anywhere you are tolerated, dishonoured or cheated. 

May God give us the wisdom to know the difference between people in Jesus name. Amen

You Are Free in Jesus Name!

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.

There is too much pain and oppression in the world, people are hurting emotionally and it breaks the heart of God. One of the major instructions God gave was that Christians should cast out devils and lay hands on the sick, God hates oppression. 

I don't know what you are going through, I don't know who is oppressing you, that is not God's plan for your life. God wants you to live in peace and joy, He wants to remove fear from your life. 

If you are in any situation of oppression, fear or bondage. Please say  after me; Father I thank you for your word. Thank you that your plan for my life is that I will have peace at all times and in all ways as you said in 2 Thessalonians 3:16. I believe in your word and I break every demonic hold over my life in Jesus name. I set myself free by the blood of Jesus. I am free in Jesus name. Thank you Jesus.

Abundantly, Exceedingly Above

Ephesians 3:20 (ESV) Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us...

Babies can feed up to 20 times in a day and a mother will always have breast milk. It doesn't matter where or when, a nursing mother does not lack breast milk.

Ladies and gentlemen, one of the names of God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord my provider. God is the many breasted one, He has more than enough to take care of His children.

The problem we make is that we forget that God is our source, no man is your source if you are a child of God, you may be earning salary from that office but God is your source. If you have this mentality, you will not struggle or hustle for anything.

Trust God to answer your prayers; He knew you would need a house, a car, a husband, a wife, that school fees, that job. Talk to God before you talk to any man, a mother's breastmilk is for her baby, God is rich because of you. Trust Him! Your expectations will not be cut off in Jesus name. Amen
