Use that gift for God!

Exodus 4:20 (NLT) So Moses took his wife and sons, put them on a donkey, and headed back to the land of Egypt. In his hand he carried the #staff of God.

Before this moment, Moses was a prince of Egypt but he had to run away because he killed an Egyptian and for the next 40 years, he was a shepherd; shepherds always carry a staff/ rod to direct their sheep. In the case of Moses, something happened, he experienced God and that which he was using to direct sheep had now become the staff of God!It was with this staff that he parted the Red Sea and God wrought many miracles through his staff.

Beloved, what is that gift that you have? Everyone tells you how gifted you are but you ignore the gift because you think it can't pay the bills or bring you prominence? Submit that gift to God! In the hands of Moses, it was just a rod but when that gift was submitted to God, it parted the red Sea. David was very good with the sling but when he used the talent for God, it killed Goliath!

Everything you need to become who God has called you to be is already within you, submit it to God!

You may ask, how do I submit my gift to God? Use it in church, if you can sing, join the choir, if you can write, join those who transcribe your pastor's messages or edit the magazine. If you know about interior decoration, help to design the church.

When you use your gifts and talents for God, He will reward you in ways you do not expect or quantify. Your prominence in life is proportionate to your service in the house of God, you cannot serve in the house of God and remain on a spot, never!
